1977–78 Segunda División B

The 1977-78 Segunda División B season saw 40 teams participate in the third flight Spanish league. Racing Ferrol, Castilla, Almería and Algeciras were promoted to Segunda División. Compostela, Tudelano, Baskonia, Eldense, Mallorca and Atlético Baleares were relegated to Tercera División.
